Jalapeno simple syrup

  • 2 cups of filtered water
  • 1 jalapeno sliced in half. I took out half of the seeds. Keep more if you want it really spicy.
  • 1/2 cup of maple syrup

Margarita ingredients

  • 1/3 cup of orange juice I used fresh blood orange juice
  • 1/3 cup of mango puree 1 cup of frozen mango + 1/4 cup of filtered water pureed in a high-speed blender
  • 4 tablespoons of jalapeno simple syrup see details above about how to make that
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons of fresh lime juice
  • 1 cup of Bubbl'r Blood Orange Mango Mingl'r
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon of maple syrup
  • 2 oz of tequila
  • Sprinkle of sea salt

Jalapeno simple syrup

  • Combine the ingredients for the jalapeno simple syrup to a small saucepan while stirring occasionally.
  • Once the mixture comes to a boil remove from heat and set aside. Let the flavors infuse.

  • To make the mango puree add the 1/4 filtered water and 1 cup of frozen mango to a high-speed blender and blend until smooth and creamy. I used the puree setting on my blender. Set aside.
  • Prepare to glasses with salt rims or without and add ice to each glass.
  • Using a fine mesh strainer pour the simple syrup into a container and discard the jalapeno.
  • Add all of the ingredients together in a shaker. Shake well. Adjust sweetness if need be to fit your preference.
  • Pour the margarita into the prepared glasses and top with garnishes if you desire. Enjoy!
